Get a double-dose of crime and punishment this March when Adult Swim and Warner Home Video bring Superjail! Season 2 to DVD. That’s right! Superjail!’s infamous inmates are once again getting released from solitary and slammed back into the general population. What is The Warden thinking?! It means twice the insanity and double the crazy in the most brutally twisted jail ever built! Superjail! Season 2 contains all 10 episodes that are fueled by the classic violence and unimaginable acts of insanity that fans have come to love about this hysterical series. In addition, the DVD boasts loads of bonus features including a live, 10 song concert from Cheeseburger – the party rock band behind the Superjail! theme song – as well as a Cheeseburger animated music video, episode commentary and more!

Built in an active volcano, Superjail! is made up of dangerous criminals, fantastic creatures, and a prison warden who has gone bonkers over the years with his crazy mechanisms and irrational schemes. The infamous complex routinely has riots and murders, and while the criminals of Superjail! may escape time to time, their horrible crimes eventually bring them back. Created by Christy Karacas (Cartoon Sushi, Robotomy) and Stephen Warbrick (Beavis and Butthead, Celebrity Deathmatch), and produced at Titmouse Studios in NY, the series uses flash animation to create traditional animation gags that move at a dizzying pace.

Season 4 Volume 2 and Complete Season 4 Release

Fans of The Venture Bros. have reason to rejoice on March 22, when Adult Swim releases the long-awaited Season 4, Volume 2 on DVD, and the entire Season 4 on Blu-ray. Bonus features abound on the DVD, and the Blu-ray will include deleted scenes and commentary tracks for each episode. Experience all the highs, lows, and rollicking adventure as Dr. Venture and the boys adjust to their Brock-less life, and Henchman 21 adjusts to life without 24. All for the price of $19.99 for The Venture Bros. Season 4 Volume 2 DVD, and $39.99 for The Venture Bros. Complete Season 4 Blu-ray!

Back in October, fans of Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros. were able to own the first eight episodes of the series’ fourth season thanks to a fantastic DVD release from Adult Swim and Warner Home Video. Coming this March, they can finally own the final eight episodes, complete with bonus features, with the release of The Venture Bros. Season 4 Volume 2.

For those high-definition enthusiasts (you know who you are), Adult Swim will also release The Venture Bros. Complete Season 4 Blu-ray Disc on the same day, which features all 16 episodes of the season as well as deleted scenes and commentary tracks for each episode. On March 22, 2011, relive every moment as the boys and Dr. Venture adjust to life without Brock – and Henchman 21 adjusts to life without 24 – plus new mysteries are revealed while more questions are raised and awkward moments abound.

Both discs will be available at retail starting on March 22 with The Venture Bros. Complete Season 4 Blu-ray carrying a suggested retail price of $39.99, while The Venture Bros. Season 4 Volume 2 DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.99.

Launched on Adult Swim in August 2004, The Venture Bros. is an inspired spoof of 1960s action cartoon shows such as “Jonny Quest.” Created by Jackson Publick III (King of the Hill, The Tick), this 30-minute animated series follows the bizarre misadventures of the Venture family, which includes world-renowned Dr. Venture, his dimwitted sons Hank and Dean as well as Brock Samson, their bodyguard assigned by the government to keep an eye on the family who was then promptly forgotten by the Feds. The Venture Bros. continues to be one of the most popular shows on Adult Swim.
