Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles is currently hosting a group exhibition featuring art inspired by Adult Swim shows. The art exhibit opened last Friday and features over 100 artists from around the world paying tribute to programs like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies, Robot Chicken, Venture Brothers; As well as live action comedies like Delocated, Childrens Hospital and Tim & Eric. Notable artists include Veronica Fish, Scott Listfield, Olly Moss, Dave Perillo, Jay “Ironjaiden” Shaw, and Steve Thomas.
Gallery 1988 is well-known throughout the Los Angeles art scene for displaying pop-culture themed artwork as well as showcasing artwork of emerging artists & designers.
