Doc Hammer posted on his Myspace blog that WEEP will be performing at Dragon*Con this year. Weep will be playing with Projekt label-mates, Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Voltaire, and The Cruxshadows on Friday, September 3rd at the Marriott Atrium Ballroom. Sideshow Collectibles has recently acquired the license to produce 12″ Venture Bros. collectible statues. The team at Sideshow Collectibles are huge fans of the show and say that it’s a great project to work on. They mention in their “New Licenses” video that the design team at Sideshow are starting with a Brock Samson collectible, followed by a Molotov Cocktease companion. Released the other day on AdultSwim.com, the official trailer of the new season of the Venture Bros. The trailer originally premiered at Comic-Con and opens with the question what should the new episodes be called? Fans may recall that season 4 was split into two halves, the first half aired from October to December of last year. There was some confusion among fans stemming from an Adult Swim bump, labeling the upcoming episodes as Season Five. Ultimatly, the DVD sets of the Venture Bros. will be known as Season 4, Volume One and Two. The new season of the Venture Bros. premieres Sunday, September 12th at 11:30p ET/PT. [Read more →]
