Animation Auction for Gulf Coast Relief Extended

CoughCoughWheeze.com has extended their Animation Auction on eBay through next week. So far a total of 61 production drawings from the Venture Bros. were auctioned online to aid the oil spill clean up in the Gulf of Mexico. Tom Bayne, animatic supervisor of the show says they’ve been able to raise over $16,000 for the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works directly to help the people and wildlife affected by the spill. “Way more than I originally anticipated and really encouraging” says Tom Bayne of the first week of auctions. Bayne says “This auction would not have been nearly as successful without the contributions of Jackson Publick, Stephen DeStefano, Siobhan DeStefano, Jon Roscetti, Kayla Reid and Adam Albert. James Urbaniak and Patton Oswalt were also kind enough to sign some drawings. All in all it was a great group effort.”

Notable auctions from the past week included Henchmen 21 & 24 storyboards, Brock Samson vs. Pirates fight sequence and some original illustrations by Jackson Publick III. The second week of auctions begin on the evening of July 5th. Please visit CoughCoughWheeze.com/Help for more information.
