Jon Benjamin Has a Van on Comedy Central

The two night series premiere of Jon Benjamin Has a Van kicks off on Tuesday, June 14 at 10:30pm followed by a new episode in it’s regular timeslot on Wednesday, June 15 at 10:30 P.M.

Jon Benjamin Has a Van is a news style sketch show starring Benjamin as an investigative reporter hitting the streets in his custom van to do human interest stories. Jon Benjamin Has a Van was inspired by videos Benjamin did for Midnight Pajama Jam, his live comedy show with Jon Glaser.

The new series stars H. Jon Benjamin and his News Crew featuring Leo Allen, Nathan Fielder and Gary Wilmes.

As an actor, writer and producer, Benjamin has garnered an extensive list of credits in some of television’s most entertaining series. Along with creating COMEDY CENTRAL’S “Jon Benjamin Has a Van,” Benjamin currently can be heard as the voice of “Sterling Archer” in the FX animated hit, “Archer,” for which he received an Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance, as well as the voice of “Bob Belcher” in Fox’s “Bob’s Burgers.”

Benjamin has a long history on COMEDY CENTRAL, where he is best known as the voice of “Dr. Katz’s” lazy son, “Ben,” in the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning animated series, “Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist,” which ran from 1995-1999. In 2006, he and David Cross created the COMEDY CENTRAL animated series, “Freak Show,” where he voiced the character, “Tuck.” He also wrote, co-produced and appeared as numerous characters in “Important Things with Demetri Martin.” In addition, Benjamin’s distinctive voice has also been heard on Fox’s “Family Guy,” Cartoon Network’s “Home Movies” and several series on Adult Swim, including “Assy McGee,” “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” and “The Ventura Bros.”
