Support Too Art for TV on Kickstarter

Liz Artinian, color supervisor for The Venture Bros., has a Kickstarter campaign going on right now for the annual New York gallery show she organizes, Too Art for TV.

Since 2006, Too Art for TV has brought together animation artists for a large, juried group show. Previously, the show hopped from gallery to gallery. This year, Too Art for TV marks the opening of Artinian’s new space Bunnycut Gallery in Williamsburg. The Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $15,000 to cover some of the costs of opening the space. With just under two weeks left of the campaign, Too Art for TV has surpassed the halfway point to goal. Because it’s Kickstarter, though, they will need to reach the goal to get any of the funds.

Too Art for TV is a cool project and there are a lot of incentives that will appeal to animation fans. For pledges of $125, donors can select a giclee print from one of several artists, including Artinian, Chris George (The Venture Bros.), Devin Clark (Ugly Americans), Jackson Publick and more. At the $300 level, you can pick up a 20″x24″ signed giclee print from Superjail! creator Christy Karacas. There are also postcard sets, prints packages and even a few original paintings available. You only have until November 8 to pledge, so don’t lag on this.
