REVIEW: The New Season of The Venture Bros.

Released the other day on AdultSwim.com, the official trailer of the new season of the Venture Bros. The trailer originally premiered at Comic-Con and opens with the question what should the new episodes be called? Fans may recall that season 4 was split into two halves, the first half aired from October to December of last year. There was some confusion among fans stemming from an Adult Swim bump, labeling the upcoming episodes as Season Five. Ultimatly, the DVD sets of the Venture Bros. will be known as Season 4, Volume One and Two. The new season of the Venture Bros. premieres Sunday, September 12th at 11:30p ET/PT.

The Venture Bros. at San Diego Comic-Con 2010

Released this week on Comic-Con.org and BifBangPow.com are details of convention programs featuring the creators of The Venture Bros., Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. Along with convention appearances and signings, Venture fans can get exclusive Bif Bang Pow! action figures at the Entertainment Earth booth at the event!

On Friday, July 23rd at 4:30 PM, Adult Swim will have a joint writers panel featuring Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros, and Metalocalypse. Show creators Seth Green, Matt Senreich, and Tom Root (Robot Chicken), Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer (Venture Bros), and Brendon Small (Metalocalypse) to discuss their original series, screen sneak peeks, and answer questions. Keith Crofford, VP of production at Adult Swim, will moderate.
